1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Tiny Quotes ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Tiny Quotes is a mobile application with bundle ID com.tinyspark.daily that displays curated motivational and inspirational quotes, each accompanied by a short reflection. The app also offers daily challenges — small solo micro-tasks designed to build positive habits (e.g. mindfulness, gratitude, action) — which users can complete, dismiss, or disable entirely. The app is designed for general personal inspiration and entertainment purposes only.

3. Not a Mental Health or Medical Service

The app is not a substitute for professional mental health care, psychological treatment, therapy, counselling, or medical advice.

Quotes and reflections in this app are provided purely for general inspirational and motivational purposes. We make no claims that the content will improve, cure, treat, or prevent any mental health condition, emotional state, psychological issue, or medical condition.

We are not responsible for how you interpret, feel about, or respond to any content shown in the app. Individual reactions to motivational content vary widely and are beyond our control.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, emotional distress, or any medical emergency, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services immediately.

4. User Conduct

By using the app, you agree not to:

Add custom quotes that contain illegal, hateful, abusive, defamatory, or copyright-infringing content
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
Use the app for commercial purposes without written permission
Interfere with the app's proper operation
Include personally identifiable information (PII) — such as your real name, email address, phone number, or postal address — in any feedback you submit. We are not responsible for any PII you voluntarily include in the feedback field.

5. User Feedback

The app includes an optional feedback form. By submitting feedback you acknowledge and agree that:

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use the content of that feedback solely to improve the app and our services.
Submitting feedback does not create any obligation on our part to implement, respond to, or act on it. We do not guarantee that any feature request, bug report, or suggestion will be implemented.
Feedback is submitted anonymously and is associated only with your anonymous Firebase UID — it is not linked to any personal identity.
Do not include any personally identifiable information in your feedback. We are not responsible for PII you voluntarily disclose.

6. Intellectual Property

All built-in quotes, reflections, UI design, graphics, and branding are the intellectual property of Medha Arcot, trading as Tiny Quotes.
Famous or historical quotes attributed to real individuals are included for inspirational purposes under fair use. Attribution is provided where the author is known.
Your custom quotes remain your own content. By adding them, you grant us no rights; they are stored solely on your device.

7. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Version 1.0.2 introduces optional Tiny Quotes Pro monthly and yearly subscriptions for all 15 categories and unlimited custom quotes. The free tier includes up to 5 enabled categories and 5 custom quotes. Existing quotes and category selections are preserved. Earlier versions with purchases disabled do not offer these subscriptions. The following terms apply to Pro purchases:

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Subscription management and entitlement validation is handled by RevenueCat. By making a purchase you also agree to RevenueCat's Terms of Service.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store / Google Play account settings.
If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. You will not be charged during the free trial period.
All refund requests are subject to the refund policy of the platform through which you purchased (Apple or Google). We are unable to issue refunds directly.
We reserve the right to change pricing or features of Premium with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
Any content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances
The app will meet your personal expectations or produce any particular emotional or motivational outcome

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm to your mental, emotional, or physical wellbeing arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app you agree to the collection and use of data as described therein.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or app update. Continued use after the effective date of revised terms constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
